R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Andrew Joe Lopez of Katy is celebrating a |
|
|
significant milestone in his life in 2011, when he graduates from |
|
|
Taylor High School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Taylor High, Mr. Lopez has |
|
|
played center on the Mustangs football team; he has also attended |
|
|
the engineering and architecture program at the Miller Career and |
|
|
Technology Center, and he hopes to apply the knowledge he has gained |
|
|
while pursuing a degree at Louisiana State University, where he has |
|
|
been accepted into the school of engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Lopez is active in the congregation at |
|
|
Crosspoint Community Church; in addition to participating in the |
|
|
Christian Leadership Group, he has mentored younger members, |
|
|
provided child care, and helped to feed the homeless through the |
|
|
church's outreach ministry; the son of proud parents Julio and |
|
|
Gracie Espinoza, he is the oldest of four children; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Andrew Joe Lopez on his graduation |
|
|
from Taylor High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Lopez as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
