R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Andrew Joe Lopez of Katy is celebrating a
  significant milestone in his life in 2011, when he graduates from
  Taylor High School; and
         WHEREAS, During his years at Taylor High, Mr. Lopez has
  played center on the Mustangs football team; he has also attended
  the engineering and architecture program at the Miller Career and
  Technology Center, and he hopes to apply the knowledge he has gained
  while pursuing a degree at Louisiana State University, where he has
  been accepted into the school of engineering; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Lopez is active in the congregation at
  Crosspoint Community Church; in addition to participating in the
  Christian Leadership Group, he has mentored younger members,
  provided child care, and helped to feed the homeless through the
  church's outreach ministry; the son of proud parents Julio and
  Gracie Espinoza, he is the oldest of four children; and
         WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
  outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
  friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
  promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Andrew Joe Lopez on his graduation
  from Taylor High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Lopez as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
