R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
  milestones, and Michael Thomas Criaco participated in that joyful
  tradition when he graduated from St. Thomas High School in Houston
  on May 21, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2011 will now go
  their separate ways, the time that they have shared at St. Thomas
  High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and experiences
  that Mr. Criaco has gained there will forever enrich his life; and
         WHEREAS, Earning his high school diploma has required hard
  work and dedication, and Mr. Criaco can reflect with pride on the
  perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; the
  son of Mary and Adam Criaco, he excelled in his studies, earning a
  Trinity University Dean's Scholarship, a DePaul University
  Scholars' Award, and a special achievement award in physics from
  St. Thomas; and
         WHEREAS, Accepted to Fordham University in New York, this
  outstanding young Texan may look forward with anticipation to the
  exciting challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and it is
  truly a pleasure to recognize him as he prepares to embark on a
  future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Michael Thomas Criaco on his
  graduation from St. Thomas High School and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Criaco as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
