R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jelissa Graves of Dallas is commemorating a special |
|
|
milestone in her life on June 2, 2011, for on that day she graduates |
|
|
from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her two years at TSD, Ms. Graves has |
|
|
remained dedicated to her course work, with a particular interest |
|
|
in the health sciences; she hopes to receive additional training in |
|
|
that field in the school's 18+ Program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to her academic pursuits, Ms. Graves has |
|
|
served her fellow students as a manager for the softball and track |
|
|
teams; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation marks the beginning of a new and exciting |
|
|
chapter in the life of Ms. Graves, and it is indeed fitting to |
|
|
commend her for her noteworthy accomplishment; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jelissa Graves on her graduation |
|
|
from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Graves as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
