R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mia Eliana Ramirez of Boerne celebrated a |
|
|
significant milestone in her life on May 7, 2011, for on that date |
|
|
she graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Ramirez demonstrated initiative, leadership, |
|
|
and a determination to succeed, earning her bachelor's degree in |
|
|
business management in only three years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of R. Ricardo and Carmen B. Ramirez, |
|
|
Ms. Ramirez graduated in 2008 from Sandra Day O'Connor High School, |
|
|
where she was a member of FFA, the choir, and the tennis team; |
|
|
throughout her academic career, she has enjoyed the encouragement |
|
|
and support of her parents and her sisters, Margo, Monica, and |
|
|
Maricarmen; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing |
|
|
her as she embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mia Eliana Ramirez on her |
|
|
graduation from The University of Texas at San Antonio and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ramirez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
