R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Anita Van Cleave Glass of Waco passed away on May 3,
  2011, at the age of 82, leaving her circle of family and friends to
  cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her company; and
         WHEREAS, Born on February 3, 1929, in Waco, the former Anita
  Van Cleave was the daughter of Charles and Elsie Van Cleave; she
  worked in the labs of VA hospitals in Waco and Temple until the
  mid-1980s; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Glass was a devoted mother to her son, Jim, and
  she knew the joy of welcoming four grandchildren and eight
  great-grandchildren into her family; and
         WHEREAS, A woman who delighted others with her lively
  personality, entertaining conversation, and ability to easily make
  new friends, she also nurtured a deep faith and took pleasure in
  listening to Christian music and reading her Bible; and
         WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in the friendship
  and love of Anita Glass will always remember her with great
  tenderness and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Anita Van Cleave Glass
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  son, Jim Parrish, and his wife, Anita; to her grandchildren, Tommy
  Gattis and his wife, Cherry, Richie Gattis and his wife, Frances,
  Jaime Feaster and her husband, Blanton, and Roni Parrish-Hamner; to
  her great-grandchildren, Casey, Dalton, Hannah, Ashley, and
  Brittany Gattis, Parrish Feaster, and Cyler and Cadence Hamner; to
  her brother, Dr. Charles Van Cleave, and his wife, Betty; to her
  nieces, Charlotte Pisors and her husband, Dan, and Sharon Fain and
  her husband, Gary; to her nephew, Steven Van Cleave; to her
  great-nephews, Michael John, Calvin, and Drew Keeney and Ben,
  Bryan, and Baylor Fain; and to her other relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Anita
  Glass.
