R E S O L U T I O N
|
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, The loved ones of Joe Alba were greatly saddened by |
|
|
his passing on April 28, 2011, at the age of 76; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, Joe Alba was born in |
|
|
Rosebud on February 15, 1935, to Luis Alba and Costancio Torres; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, this beloved man served as a |
|
|
source of affection and inspiration to his family, which included |
|
|
four siblings, Helen, Lupe, George, and Danny; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joe Alba enjoyed a life that was rich in the |
|
|
intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |
|
|
who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Joe Alba and extend |
|
|
sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his sisters, Helen |
|
|
Torres and Lupe Alba; to his brothers, George Alba and Danny Torres; |
|
|
and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Joe Alba. |
