R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, April 9, 2011, signaled the beginning of a new |
|
|
chapter in the lives of Michelle Penney and Jack Abel, Jr., of Waco, |
|
|
for on that day they exchanged their wedding vows and embarked on a |
|
|
rewarding journey together as husband and wife; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Penney and Mr. Abel were joined in matrimony at a |
|
|
ceremony officiated by Terry Wilkerson at Oaklawn Baptist Church in |
|
|
Waco; the momentous day also brought together the parents of the |
|
|
bride, Pat and George Moore, and the parents of the groom, Jack |
|
|
Abel, Sr., and Willie Abel, into one family; the bride is also the |
|
|
daughter of the late Murl Penney; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bride is employed as a master groomer at |
|
|
Dogtopia of Waco, while the groom works as an HVAC installer with |
|
|
Lochridge-Priest; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The wedding of Ms. Penney and Mr. Abel marks a |
|
|
profound deepening of a relationship that has grown in love, |
|
|
respect, and mutual regard with each passing day, and it is truly a |
|
|
pleasure to honor this fortunate couple; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Michelle Penney and Jack Abel, Jr., |
|
|
on the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them sincere |
|
|
best wishes for a lifetime of happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
