R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Paul Kamprath has provided indispensable support to |
|
the House Committee on Technology and its chair, Aaron Pena, |
|
throughout the 82nd Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, During his tenure as committee clerk, Mr. Kamprath |
|
has ably handled a number of diverse responsibilities, including |
|
managing the committee operations and policy, directing staff, |
|
compiling committee reports, and tracking all legislation |
|
pertaining to technology; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Austin, Mr. Kamprath earned his |
|
bachelor's degree in English, with a minor in classical |
|
civilization, from The University of Texas at Austin; he has |
|
extensive experience with the Texas Legislature, having worked |
|
through 10 sessions in such positions as committee clerk, chief of |
|
staff, and bill analyst; in his leisure time, he enjoys reading, |
|
bicycling, traveling, and vegetable gardening, and he has earned |
|
recognition as the UT Intramural Co-ed Putt-Putt Champion; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Kamprath's skill, energy, and dedication have |
|
greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House |
|
Committee on Technology, and it is indeed a pleasure to honor him |
|
for a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Paul Kamprath for his service as |
|
committee clerk with the House Committee on Technology and extend |
|
to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Kamprath as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
