R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, J'Nay Washington of Dallas is commemorating a |
|
special milestone in her life on June 2, 2011, for on that day she |
|
graduates from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin; and |
|
WHEREAS, Joining the school as a senior, Ms. Washington |
|
served as a member of the homecoming committee and as a manager for |
|
the track team; she enjoys teaching sign language to children and is |
|
well prepared to explore the opportunities that lie ahead; and |
|
WHEREAS, Graduation marks the beginning of a new and exciting |
|
chapter in Ms. Washington's life, and it is indeed fitting to |
|
commend her for her noteworthy accomplishment; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate J'Nay Washington on her graduation |
|
from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her sincere best |
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Washington as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
