R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Honorable Souli Asa Shanklin is ably serving the |
|
|
people of Edwards County as county judge; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Presently in his first term of office, Judge |
|
|
Shanklin began his tenure in January 2011, following his election |
|
|
the previous November; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since undertaking his duties, Judge Shanklin has |
|
|
distinguished himself through his outstanding work as presiding |
|
|
officer of the commissioners court and through his astute |
|
|
leadership of county government operations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The significant contributions of Souli Shanklin are |
|
|
helping to make Edwards County an even better place in which to |
|
|
live, and he is to be commended for his dedicated efforts in behalf |
|
|
of his fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Judge Souli Asa Shanklin on his notable |
|
|
public service and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Judge Shanklin as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
