R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, The Honorable Nick Gallegos ably served the people |
|
|
of Edwards County as county judge for 12 years, and his myriad |
|
|
contributions continue to resonate in the area today; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Judge Gallegos began his tenure in 1999 and shared |
|
|
his knowledge and expertise in that post for three terms before |
|
|
leaving office at the end of 2010; in that time, he distinguished |
|
|
himself through his outstanding work as presiding officer of the |
|
|
commissioners court and through his astute leadership of county |
|
|
government operations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The significant accomplishments of Nick Gallegos |
|
|
helped make Edwards County an even better place in which to live, |
|
|
and he may take justifiable pride in his exemplary record of |
|
|
achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Nick Gallegos on his notable public |
|
|
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Gallegos as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
