R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Citizens of Dallas will greatly benefit from the |
|
|
leadership of Katy Hubener, who was elected justice of the peace for |
|
|
Precinct 4, Place 2, in 2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An alumna of Texas Tech University, Ms. Hubener |
|
|
earned an advanced degree at Claremont Graduate University; for |
|
|
many years, she has been a valued member of the southwest Dallas |
|
|
County community, where she owns a successful residential and |
|
|
property management company; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life enjoyed by their fellow residents in innumerable ways, and |
|
|
Katy Hubener's work as a justice of the peace will help make Dallas |
|
|
an even better place in which to live and work in the years to come; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Honorable Katy Hubener on her |
|
|
election as justice of the peace and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Judge Hubener as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
