R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain caused by a young life
  cut short, but all those who shared in the love and friendship of
  Karmin Tergerson Brown of Bellmead treasure their memories of this
  special young woman, who died on March 9, 2011, at the age of 22; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Richard Brown and Gail Tergerson,
  Ms. Brown was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 6, 1988;
  as a little girl, she enjoyed playing with toy wrenches and
  screwdrivers while her father worked on cars, and they spent myriad
  happy hours riding together on motorcycles and four-wheelers, as
  well as in cars; she and her mother shared such traditions as baking
  cookies at Christmas, and her adopted father, Terry Tergerson,
  provided understanding and guidance, helping her develop her faith;
  an avid reader, she also loved to explore bookshops with her
  stepmother, Jennifer Brown; her radiant smile brightened the days
  of innumerable people; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Brown graduated from Axel High School and went
  on to study childhood development at McLennan Community College;
  already a skilled caregiver, she could calm the most agitated child
  with her soft-spoken, compassionate manner; she was an adoring and
  motherly big sister, and she was deeply devoted to her fiance, Daryl
  Lee "Bam Bam" Farmer, with whom she shared a fulfilling
  relationship of five years; and
         WHEREAS, Although her time with us was far too brief, Karmin
  Tergerson Brown brought great joy into the lives of her loved ones,
  and they will forever carry her close in their hearts; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Karmin Tergerson
  Brown and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family:
  to her mother, Gail Tergerson; to her father, Richard Brown; to her
  adopted father, Terry Tergerson; to her stepmother, Jennifer Brown;
  to her grandparents, Ada and Bill Brown and Ernest and Mary Lou
  Turman; and to her many other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Karmin
  Tergerson Brown.
