R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Maria Rosario Flores of Waco passed away on May 7, |
|
2011, at the age of 54, leaving her circle of family and friends to |
|
cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her company; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Mrs. Flores was born |
|
to Delfino and Socorro Ramirez on February 20, 1957, and she married |
|
Jose Luis Flores; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Flores was devoted to her two sons, John and |
|
Luis, and her daughters, Keila and Anna Marie; she gave |
|
unconditional love to her children and her six treasured |
|
grandchildren and watched over them with unending tenderness; kind |
|
and caring, she played a maternal role in the lives of others as |
|
well; a woman of faith, she was a valued member of Maranatha Church |
|
of Waco; and |
|
WHEREAS, Maria Flores possessed a generosity of spirit that |
|
expressed itself in myriad ways, and she will forever hold a special |
|
place in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Maria Rosario |
|
Flores and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: |
|
to her husband, Jose Luis Flores; to her children, John Flores and |
|
his wife, Elia, Luis Flores, and Keila Flores; to her six |
|
grandchildren; to her three brothers; to her three sisters; and to |
|
her many other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Maria |
|
Rosario Flores. |
