R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Honorable George Grubb has ably served the |
|
|
people of Jeff Davis County as county judge for more than eight |
|
|
years, and the knowledge and dedication he has demonstrated over |
|
|
the course of his tenure have earned him the respect of his fellow |
|
|
citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since taking office in 2003, Judge Grubb has |
|
|
distinguished himself through his outstanding work as presiding |
|
|
officer of the commissioners court and through his astute |
|
|
leadership of county government operations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The significant contributions of George Grubb have |
|
|
helped make Jeff Davis County an even better place in which to live, |
|
|
and he may take justifiable pride in his exemplary record of |
|
|
achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Judge George Grubb on his notable public |
|
|
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Judge Grubb as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
