R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, April 15, 2011, marked the 70th wedding anniversary |
|
|
of Henry and Josephine Kubala of West and a wonderful milestone in a |
|
|
life happily shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Henry August Kubala and the former Josephine Julia |
|
|
Oujesky were joined in matrimony on April 15, 1941, at a ceremony |
|
|
held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Pilot Point, and over |
|
|
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kubala count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes 7 children and their spouses, Janice and |
|
|
Ken Bernsen, Kenneth and Margaret Kubala, Sandra Kaplan, Joyce and |
|
|
Frank Reichardt, Vicki and Lynn Clanton, Yvonne Lansdown, and Patti |
|
|
and Mike Click, as well as 20 grandchildren and 21 |
|
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For seven decades, Henry and Josephine Kubala have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Henry and Josephine Kubala on their |
|
|
70th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kubala as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
