R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |
|
|
meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and |
|
|
friends of Brenda Sue Osterholtz of Crawford, who passed away on |
|
|
May 5, 2011, at the age of 65; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born on October 25, 1945, to Charles and Zelda Wood |
|
|
Bood in Mart, Brenda Bood graduated from Waco High School in 1964 |
|
|
and married Gary Osterholtz that same year; the couple went on to |
|
|
share 45 years of fulfilling partnership until his passing in 2009, |
|
|
and together they welcomed a daughter, Shauna; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Osterholtz became a resident of Crawford in |
|
|
1983 and was an active member of Speegleville Baptist Church, |
|
|
participating in the church's vacation Bible school; she retired in |
|
|
2003 as a manager of the Waco Federal Credit Union; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Brenda Sue Osterholtz enjoyed a life that was rich |
|
|
in the intangibles that matter most, and she is deeply missed by |
|
|
all those who held her dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd |
|
|
Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Brenda Sue |
|
|
Osterholtz and extend sincere sympathy to her loved ones, |
|
|
including her daughter, Shauna Suggs, and her husband, Brannon; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Brenda Sue |
|
|
Osterholtz. |
