R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Logan Paul Boatner of Humble is participating in |
|
|
that joyful occasion with his graduation from Atascocita High |
|
|
School in May 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A talented athlete, Mr. Boatner has been a four-year |
|
|
letterman on the varsity golf team, which he serves as captain; in |
|
|
addition to receiving the title of Outstanding Eagle Golfer as a |
|
|
freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior, he also medaled in |
|
|
district competition and was named to the 2010 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League 5A All-State Team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Boatner has excelled academically as well, |
|
|
earning membership in the National Honor Society, and he plans to |
|
|
continue his education at St. Edward's University in Austin on a |
|
|
golf scholarship; in all of his endeavors, he has enjoyed the love |
|
|
and support of his parents, Yvonne and Larry Boatner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Logan Paul Boatner on his |
|
|
graduation from Atascocita High School and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Boatner as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
