R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Christopher Martin is celebrating an |
|
|
important milestone in his life with his graduation from Kingwood |
|
|
High School in May 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Julie and David Martin, this accomplished |
|
|
young Texan has excelled during his years in high school; a member |
|
|
of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor |
|
|
Society, he is graduating in the top 10 percent of his class and has |
|
|
been awarded a petroleum engineering scholarship to The University |
|
|
of Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Martin has also enjoyed participation in varsity |
|
|
golf and soccer, and his dedication and skill earned him the title |
|
|
of Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year for 2010-2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await Mr. |
|
|
Martin, and it is a pleasure to join his family and friends in |
|
|
recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with promise; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Michael Christopher Martin on the |
|
|
occasion of his high school graduation and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Martin as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
