R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sara Kathryn Sonnier of Humble is celebrating a |
|
|
significant milestone in her life in 2011, as she graduates from |
|
|
Kingwood High School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Excelling in her academic endeavors, Ms. Sonnier is |
|
|
finishing her senior year on the A honor roll, for which she is |
|
|
being recognized as a distinguished graduate; she received the |
|
|
English IV K-Award and has participated in a number of activities, |
|
|
including cross country and track; in addition, she is a member of |
|
|
the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Kingwood United Methodist |
|
|
Church youth group, and 4-H; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Mike and Sindi Sonnier, Ms. Sonnier |
|
|
has been awarded a scholarship to attend the Honors College at |
|
|
Louisiana State University, where she plans to major in mass |
|
|
communications; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sara Sonnier is an outstanding young Texan who has |
|
|
made impressive contributions to her school and her community, and |
|
|
it is a pleasure to recognize her as she prepares to embark on the |
|
|
next exciting chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sara Kathryn Sonnier on her |
|
|
graduation from Kingwood High School and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Sonnier as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
