R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Natalie Taylor Grisham of Humble is participating |
|
|
in that joyful occasion with her graduation from Atascocita High |
|
|
School in May 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Grisham has been a valued member of the school's |
|
|
coed varsity cheer squad, which she has led as captain; in addition |
|
|
to her selection as Best Female Athlete by her classmates, she was |
|
|
twice named All-American Cheerleader, and she plans to continue her |
|
|
participation in the sport at The University of Texas, where she |
|
|
will cheer with the Orange Squad; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Also excelling academically, Ms. Grisham graduated |
|
|
in the top three percent of her class; she has earned recognition as |
|
|
an Outstanding English Student and Outstanding White House Student, |
|
|
and she has served as an officer with the National Honor Society; |
|
|
she plans to earn a degree in psychology at UT; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In all of her endeavors, Ms. Grisham has enjoyed the |
|
|
love and support of her parents, Bobby and Lisa Sonnier; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Natalie Taylor Grisham on the |
|
|
occasion of her high school graduation and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Grisham as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
