R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ron Natinsky has ably served the citizens of Dallas
  as the city council member for District 12 since 2005; and
         WHEREAS, A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Natinsky brings a
  strong global business perspective to municipal government; as
  chair of the council's economic development committee, he worked to
  attract the headquarters of AT&T and Comerica Bank to Dallas, and he
  has helped persuade more than 30 international companies to
  establish new offices or operations in the city; he has also engaged
  in a worldwide marketing effort to promote the International Inland
  Port in Southeast Dallas and was instrumental in providing for an
  extensive renovation program for Love Field to be funded by those
  who use the facility; dedicated to improving neighborhoods, Mr.
  Natinsky strove diligently during the most recent budget season to
  continue adding police officers and to maintain essential city
  services while avoiding tax increases; he serves on the council's
  transportation and environment, public safety, legislative, and
  budget, finance, and audit committees; and
         WHEREAS, This dynamic businessman attended Hillcrest High
  School and the University of North Texas; before joining the city
  council, he served Dallas by sharing his management expertise as
  chair of the board of adjustment, vice chair of the police review
  board, and president of the cable access TV board, and he was a
  member of the mayor's neighborhood advisory committee; he is the
  current chair of the North Central Texas Council of Governments'
  Regional Transportation Council and serves on the executive
  committee of the Dallas Regional Mobility Coalition, the management
  committee of Vision North Texas, the Greater Dallas Planning
  Council, and the boards of the Dallas Convention and Visitors
  Bureau and the National League of Cities; and
         WHEREAS, The effective operation of city government depends
  on the hard work of committed public servants, and Ron Natinsky has
  demonstrated exemplary dedication and leadership as the council
  member for District 12; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize Ron Natinsky for his service on the
  Dallas City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Natinsky as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
