R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John A. Maldonado II marked a significant milestone |
|
|
in his life on May 21, 2011, with his graduation from The University |
|
|
of Texas at Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student in the College of Liberal Arts and the |
|
|
School of Biological Sciences, Mr. Maldonado earned bachelor's |
|
|
degrees in religious studies and microbiology, as well as an ethics |
|
|
and leadership certificate; during his tenure at UT, he has been |
|
|
active in the Liberal Arts Council and the Emerging Scholars |
|
|
Program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Maldonado is a 2006 graduate of B. F. Terry High |
|
|
School in Rosenberg; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, John Maldonado is a source of great pride to his |
|
|
family, and he may indeed reflect on his academic career with a |
|
|
sense of accomplishment as he looks forward to a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate John A. Maldonado II on his |
|
|
graduation from The University of Texas at Austin and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Maldonado as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
