R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Chloe Walker has ably served her fellow Texans with |
|
|
her outstanding work in the office of State Representative Garnet |
|
|
F. Coleman during the 82nd Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A participant in the University of Houston Graduate |
|
|
College of Social Work internship program, Ms. Walker distinguished |
|
|
herself as a policy analyst in Representative Coleman's office, |
|
|
gaining valuable work experience and firsthand knowledge of the |
|
|
governmental process while also developing insight into the |
|
|
important issues facing our communities and our state; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Walker earned her bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science from Rice University, and she is currently a dual degree |
|
|
student at the University of Houston, simultaneously pursuing a |
|
|
master's degree in social work and a law degree; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Diligent and resourceful, Ms. Walker has skillfully |
|
|
handled a variety of duties in Representative Coleman's office and |
|
|
ably assisted in meeting the needs of constituents in House |
|
|
District 147, and she may reflect proudly on her service; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Chloe Walker for her work as a policy |
|
|
analyst in the office of State Representative Garnet F. Coleman and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Walker as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
