R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, The successful operation of the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives during the 82nd Legislative Session has been |
|
|
greatly aided by the dedicated work of house parliamentarian and |
|
|
special counsel Chris Griesel; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Griesel has ably handled his duties of guiding |
|
|
the speaker and members through the daily activities of the |
|
|
legislative session and advising them about legal and parliamentary |
|
|
options on a wide variety of matters; he is assisted in carrying out |
|
|
the functions of his office by Jan Meinscher, parliamentary deputy, |
|
|
and research assistants Mark Burgin and Grayson Walker; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Conscientious and hardworking, Chris Griesel and |
|
|
his outstanding crew have provided vital support to the members of |
|
|
this chamber throughout this regular session, and their service is |
|
|
truly appreciated; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend house parliamentarian and special |
|
|
counsel Chris Griesel and his staff for their exemplary work and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Griesel and his staff as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
