R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Candido Mejia of Roberts County participated in |
|
|
that joyful occasion with his graduation from Miami High School on |
|
|
May 27, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning his diploma has required hard work and |
|
|
dedication, and Mr. Mejia can reflect with pride on the |
|
|
perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; a |
|
|
valued member of the varsity football and basketball teams, he |
|
|
maintained perfect attendance throughout his high school career and |
|
|
earned admission to the National Honor Society; he plans to |
|
|
continue his education at Oklahoma State University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Candido Mejia on his graduation |
|
|
from Miami High School and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Mejia as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
