A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the repeal of information disclosure exemptions for |
|
|
public power utilities. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 552.133, Government Code, is repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only |
|
|
to requests for disclosure of public information submitted to a |
|
|
governmental body under Chapter 552, Government Code, on or after |
|
|
the effective date of this Act. A request for disclosure submitted |
|
|
before the effective date of this Act is governed by the law in |
|
|
effect on the date the request was submitted, and the former law is |
|
|
continued in effect for that purpose. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
