A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
 
  relating to the de-annexation of land in Bastrop County by the
  Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Not later than the 30th day after the effective
  date of this Act, the board of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer
  Conservation District shall declare by resolution that the
  territory described by Section 2 of this Act is excluded from the
  territory of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation
  District.  The board shall file a copy of the resolution in the
  office of the county clerk of the county in which the excluded
  territory is located. The county clerk shall record the resolution
  in the county records. On the date the resolution is recorded, the
  excluded territory is no longer part of that district.
         SECTION 2.  The territory to be de-annexed by the Barton
  Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District under this Act is the
  territory contained in the following area:
  BEGINNING AT A POINT at the intersection of Travis County, Bastrop
  County, and Caldwell County;
  THENCE, 1840 feet, more or less, N 48° E, along the Bastrop/Travis
  County Line to an angle point;
  THENCE, 9720 feet, more or less, S 47° E, passing State Highway 21 to
  an angle point;
  THENCE, 1670 feet, more or less, S 70° W, to an angle point in the
  Bastrop/Caldwell County Line;
  THENCE, 8840 feet, more or less, N 43° W, along the Bastrop/Caldwell
  County Line and passing State Highway 21 to the Point of Beginning.
  All of the area enclosed by this description is in Bastrop County
  and totals approximately 410 acres.

  2006, held by TCEQ for Water CCN Number 11029.
         SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
  a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
  provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this
  Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
  Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
