| relating to the jurisdiction of the 228th District Court. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 24.406, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | ||
| (d) The 228th District Court has concurrent jurisdiction | ||
| with the statutory county courts of Harris County in misdemeanor | ||
| cases as well as the jurisdiction prescribed by general law for | ||
| district courts. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
