A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to information on turnover among county jail personnel. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Chapter 511, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Section 511.0102 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 511.0102. INFORMATION ON STAFF TURNOVER. Each county |
|
|
shall submit with the report required under Section 511.0101 a |
|
|
report containing the number of county jail personnel who left the |
|
|
employ of the county or were transferred to another primary duty |
|
|
station during the previous month. The commission shall prescribe |
|
|
a form for the report required by this section. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Not later than December 1, 2011, the Commission |
|
|
on Jail Standards shall adopt rules to implement Section 511.0102, |
|
|
Government Code, as added by this Act. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
