A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the 444th Judicial District. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 24.60, Government Code, is amended to |
|
|
read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 24.60. 444th JUDICIAL DISTRICT (CAMERON COUNTY and |
|
|
Willacy County). (a) The 444th Judicial District is composed of |
|
|
Cameron County and Willacy County. |
|
|
(b) Notwithstanding Section 24.601, the 444th Judicial |
|
|
District shall not be limited to cases involving family law matters |
|
|
when sitting in Willacy County. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
