SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 97
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Forrest Nikorak, who is retiring after more than 12
  years of outstanding service with the City of Austin; and
 
         WHEREAS, Mr. Nikorak began his career with the city in 1998
  as an engineer with the Environmental and Conservation Services
  Department after working at the Texas Natural Resources
  Conservation Commission for five years; he is retiring as a
  supervising engineer with the Watershed Protection and
  Development Review Department; and
 
         WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Mr. Nikorak has been noted
  for his superior skills and his expertise in his field; he has
  brought to bear his considerable talent in handling the many
  responsibilities of his position, and he has demonstrated
  exceptional efficiency and dedication; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, he is respected and
  admired by his colleagues, and his presence at the City of
  Austin's Watershed Protection and Development Review Department
  will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Forrest Nikorak on his outstanding
  service to the City of Austin; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
