SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 97
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
recognize Forrest Nikorak, who is retiring after more than 12 |
|
years of outstanding service with the City of Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Nikorak began his career with the city in 1998 |
|
as an engineer with the Environmental and Conservation Services |
|
Department after working at the Texas Natural Resources |
|
Conservation Commission for five years; he is retiring as a |
|
supervising engineer with the Watershed Protection and |
|
Development Review Department; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Mr. Nikorak has been noted |
|
for his superior skills and his expertise in his field; he has |
|
brought to bear his considerable talent in handling the many |
|
responsibilities of his position, and he has demonstrated |
|
exceptional efficiency and dedication; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, he is respected and |
|
admired by his colleagues, and his presence at the City of |
|
Austin's Watershed Protection and Development Review Department |
|
will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd |
|
Legislature, hereby commend Forrest Nikorak on his outstanding |
|
service to the City of Austin; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
