SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 99

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize the members of the delegations from the Agriculture Business Association of Poland and the National Association of Cereal Producers on the occasion of their visit to the Texas Capitol on March 2, 2011; and

WHEREAS, The Agriculture Business Association of Poland and the National Association of Cereal Producers are committed to identifying potential markets, international opportunities, and ways to increase efficiencies in the field of agriculture; and

WHEREAS, Leaders of the agricultural industry in their home country, these dedicated men and women are visiting our state in order to help create a bond that will enhance export and import opportunities; in addition to their visit to the Texas Capitol to examine the relationship between government and agriculture in Texas, the group will travel to locations across the state to learn more about specific crops and agricultural technologies; and

WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that the members of these exemplary organizations be recognized for their dedication to seeking cooperative means to promote common goals; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend the Agriculture Business Association of Poland and the National Association of Cereal Producers on their many contributions to furthering the relationship between Poland and our state and extend to their delegations a warm welcome to the Texas Capitol; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for these distinguished visitors as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
