SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 126
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Paul Miller on the occasion of the statewide
  commemoration of Wounded Warrior Day at the State Capitol on
  January 24, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Wounded Warrior Day is an opportunity for Texans
  everywhere to be reminded of the valor and dedication to freedom
  that the members of the United States armed forces have shown on
  behalf of our country; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Miller was injured while serving the nation in
  the United States Army during the Vietnam War; he went on to serve
  in the Texas National Guard, the United States Army Reserve, and
  the Texas State Guard for a total of 27 years of service, and he
  has been awarded numerous medals; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Miller was wounded while bravely carrying out
  his duties in service to our country, and he is truly deserving of
  recognition for his patriotism and his sacrifice; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Paul Miller on his courage, his
  dedication to duty, and his sacrifice in the service of our
  nation and extend to him sincere gratitude for his dedication to
  our country and best wishes for success in all his future
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
