SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 399
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize the members of the Leadership Hurst-Euless-Bedford |
|
|
Class of 2011 on the occasion of their visit to Austin and the |
|
|
State Capitol; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding leadership program offers |
|
|
participants many opportunities over a nine-month period to gain |
|
|
greater insight into important public issues and to meet with |
|
|
leaders who make crucial policy decisions that affect their |
|
|
community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to learning about local public and |
|
|
private institutions over the course of the program, |
|
|
participants visit the Capitol to learn more about state |
|
|
government; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By developing their leadership skills and |
|
|
learning how they can contribute most effectively to their |
|
|
communities, the members of Leadership Hurst-Euless-Bedford are |
|
|
demonstrating their commitment to building an involved citizenry |
|
|
and a brighter future; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend Leadership Hurst-Euless-Bedford and |
|
|
its Class of 2011 for their dedication to upholding their civic |
|
|
responsibilities and extend best wishes to them for a productive |
|
|
and memorable visit to Austin; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
these outstanding citizens as an expression of high regard from |
|
|
the Texas Senate. |
