SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 466
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize the members of the Leadership Fort Worth Class of 2011 |
|
|
on the occasion of their visit to Austin and the State Capitol to |
|
|
learn more about state government; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Leadership Fort Worth is a 10-month program that |
|
|
offers participants many opportunities to gain greater insight |
|
|
into important public issues and to meet with leaders who make |
|
|
crucial decisions on policies that affect their community; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of Leadership Fort Worth are |
|
|
concerned citizens who have shown outstanding leadership |
|
|
abilities and are committed to building an involved citizenry and |
|
|
a better community; now, therefore, be it |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Leadership Fort |
|
|
Worth Class of 2011 for their civic engagement and extend best |
|
|
wishes to them for a productive and memorable visit to Austin; |
|
|
and, be it further |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
these outstanding citizens as an expression of high regard from |
|
|
the Texas Senate. |
