Raul R. Ayala |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
commemorates the life of Raul R. Ayala, who died February 9, |
|
2011, at the age of 89; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Raul Ayala was an exemplary citizen who was widely |
|
admired in his community for his many achievements; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born December 31, 1922, in San Isidro, Coahuila, |
|
Mexico, Mr. Ayala enjoyed a long and productive career with the |
|
Zachry Construction Corporation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he |
|
gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued |
|
counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He was devoted to his large and loving extended |
|
family, and he will long be remembered for his generous spirit |
|
and his outstanding accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd |
|
Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|
family of Raul R. Ayala: his loving wife of 68 years, Isabel |
|
Ayala; his children, Raul Ayala, Jr., Lucio Ayala, Ricardo |
|
Ayala, Robert Ayala, Ralph Ayala, Socorro Munoz, Esperanza |
|
Davila, and Asalia Davila; and his 20 grandchildren and 24 |
|
great-grandchildren; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
memory of Raul R. Ayala. |
