SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 554

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Jaci Walker, the reigning Miss Texas Junior Pre-teen 2010; and

WHEREAS, Jaci is a third grader at James and Margie Marion Elementary School in the Allen Independent School District, where she is an academic leader and an exemplary student; and

WHEREAS, This outstanding young lady has been an award-winning member of her school's cheer squad and has won a Marvelous Maverick Award for courtesy; she participates in many extracurricular activities, including gymnastics, music, and skating; and

WHEREAS, Jaci represented Texas with grace and enthusiasm at the National American Miss competition in Anaheim, California; she is truly deserving of recognition for her many outstanding achievements; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend Jaci Walker on her dedication and hard work and extend to her best wishes for continued success in all her future endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
