SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 570
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Beverly Stoerner Wise
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Beverly Stoerner Wise, who died February
  3, 2011, at the age of 63; and
         WHEREAS, Born May 23, 1947, in Houston, Texas, Beverly Wise
  was a Montgomery County resident for over 20 years; and
         WHEREAS, Beverly was a highly respected community leader
  who dedicated her time to service and had a special love for
  children; she founded Preferred Monitoring Services and served
  as a court-appointed protector for children of estranged
  parents; and
         WHEREAS, An avid Republican, she was active in the National
  Federation of Republican Women and was a longtime supporter of
  the Montgomery County Republican Party; she also served as an
  election judge in her home precinct; and
         WHEREAS, She was a graduate of the Montgomery County
  Sheriff Citizens Academy and was an active member of the
  Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County; a devout
  Christian, she was a member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in
  Spring, Texas; and
         WHEREAS, An exemplary lady, she showed courage in the face
  of her illness and was an inspiration to others; and
         WHEREAS, A woman of integrity, strength, and generosity,
  she gave unselfishly of her time to others, and her wisdom,
  warmth, and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who
  knew her; and
         WHEREAS, Beverly Wise was a devoted wife, mother, and
  grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be
  treasured forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Beverly Stoerner Wise: her husband, Jack Wise; her
  brother, Lee Roy Stoerner; her sons, Brent and David Morgan; and
  her three grandchildren; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy
  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Beverly Stoerner Wise.
