SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 592

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Evangelina G. Flores, who has been selected for induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame for her outstanding work in the field of business and finance; and

WHEREAS, The San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame honors those women who have contributed significantly to the San Antonio community and the Bexar County region through their accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and

WHEREAS, Evangelina Flores is president of ROFO's, Incorporated, La Paloma River Walk and of FIG Management, LLC; she is also a partner in La Paloma Norte Restaurant; and

WHEREAS, She is dedicated to making improvements to the beauty, economic viability, and quality of life in downtown San Antonio, and she is the incoming president of the Fiesta Commission; and

WHEREAS, An exemplary leader in the San Antonio community, Evangelina is highly respected for her dedication to her work and for her outstanding accomplishments in the world of business and finance; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend Evangelina G. Flores for her exceptional achievements and extend congratulations to her on her induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
