SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 597
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Donna Muslin, who is being inducted into the San
  Antonio Women's Hall of Fame for her exceptional and innovative
  work in fashion management and career development; and
 
         WHEREAS, The San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame honors those
  women who have contributed significantly to the San Antonio
  community and the Bexar County region through their
  accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and
 
         WHEREAS, Donna is active in the Fashion Management Program
  at the University of the Incarnate Word; she also serves as an
  officer of Fashion Group International of San Antonio and the
  Miss Fiesta Association and is involved with Scene in SA
  Magazine; and
 
         WHEREAS, Donna mentors high school and college students,
  and she works with women's organizations that provide resources
  for networking, career development, and rejoining the job
  market; and
 
         WHEREAS, Donna Muslin is highly respected for her
  dedication to her work and for her innovative endeavors to help
  the women of the San Antonio community to better their lives and
  find professional success; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Donna Muslin for her exceptional
  achievements and extend congratulations to her on her induction
  into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
