SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 630
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Peyton Phelps of Cedar Hill, who has been awarded the
  Royal Rangers Gold Medal of Achievement; and
 
         WHEREAS, This prestigious honor is the highest award any
  young man can achieve as a member of the Assemblies of God Royal
  Rangers program; it requires years of dedication to study,
  community service, and faithfulness to church; and
 
         WHEREAS, A home-educated 10th grader, Peyton serves as a
  volunteer at the children's services at his church; he
  complements his studies with a part-time job at a sign company
  and enjoys playing golf; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary young man who embodies the qualities
  of commitment and dedication, Peyton is truly deserving of
  recognition for his many contributions to his community and his
  church; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Peyton Phelps on his many
  accomplishments and extend congratulations to him on receiving
  the Royal Rangers Gold Medal of Achievement; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
