SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 635

WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most treasured events in the life of a couple; and

WHEREAS, March 17, 2011, will be a day long remembered and cherished by Victoria Klimchock Scheffler and Bernd "Bernie" Roland Scheffler, for on that day their son, Roman Victor Alan Scheffler, was born; and

WHEREAS, The handsome baby boy was born at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano at 12:49 p.m.; he weighed eight pounds two ounces and was 19 and one-quarter inches long; and

WHEREAS, Roman's safe arrival fulfilled his parents' dearest wish, and they are joyful over the birth of their new son; and

WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great pride and happiness to Roman's family, and it is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby congratulate Victoria and Bernie Scheffler on the birth of their precious child and extend best wishes for the future to Roman Victor Alan Scheffler; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the family as a memento of this special event.
