SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 655
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Paula Yuvern Dunn
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
  citizens of Houston in mourning the loss of Paula Yuvern Dunn,
  who died February 15, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Paula Dunn was born on April 12, 1952; she
  graduated in 1970 from Evan E. Worthing High School, where she
  was selected Sweetheart of the Reserve Officer Training Corps;
  and
         WHEREAS, Paula and Stanley Jackson were high school
  sweethearts; they were later married and had two wonderful sons,
  Josman and Jyron; and
         WHEREAS, She was trained in the medical technology field as
  an X-ray technician and spent most of her career working at the
  Jefferson Davis Hospital, now known as LBJ Hospital; and
         WHEREAS, A beloved and cherished member of her community,
  Paula was known for her adventurous and outgoing personality, and
  she was admired for the courage with which she faced adversity in
  her life; and
         WHEREAS, She enriched the lives of all who knew her with
  her love, her passion for life, and her thoughtfulness; she will
  be deeply missed by her family and her many friends; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Paula Dunn and
  extend sincere condolences to her bereaved family; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Paula Yuvern Dunn.
