SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 787

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in congratulating Olivia Rebekah Moore of Angleton, Texas, on her high school graduation on May 14, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Olivia, a homeschooler, has demonstrated diligence and determination in fulfilling and exceeding the requirements for a high school diploma, and she has shown creativity and enthusiasm by developing her talents in public speaking, drama, piano, and culinary interests; and

WHEREAS, Olivia has also excelled in leadership skills and demonstrated her ability to connect with children through various teaching positions over the years; and

WHEREAS, Olivia has been a delight to her family, providing strong support to her mother and exhibiting a fun, caring, and sweet spirit to her seven siblings; and

WHEREAS, Having reached her academic goals, and having dedicated herself to her spiritual path, Olivia is now prepared and equipped for a future of success in serving her community, her family, her country, and her faith; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend Olivia Rebekah Moore on her outstanding accomplishments and extend to her best wishes for success in all her future endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this exemplary young Texan as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
