SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 949

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Jamicia Ellis on the happy occasion of her graduation from Lecanto High School; and

WHEREAS, Jamicia Ellis is a respected and well-liked student who has dedicated herself to completing her studies; talented and hardworking, she is an exemplary young woman who strives for excellence in all of her endeavors; and

WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of high school education with success and distinction, Jamicia now embarks on an adventure into a world for which she is well prepared and which holds countless exciting opportunities for her; and

WHEREAS, Jamicia and her classmates will attend commencement exercises on May 20, 2011; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby congratulate Jamicia Ellis on her graduation from Lecanto High School and extend to her best wishes for success in all her future endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this exemplary young woman as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
