SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1015
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Susan Erwin Harms, who is retiring June 30, 2011, after
  more than two decades of outstanding service with the Office of
  the Comptroller of Public Accounts; and
 
         WHEREAS, A graduate of W. B. Ray High School and Corpus
  Christi State University, Susan Harms began her career at the
  comptroller's office in September of 1988; and
 
         WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
  excellent organizational skills and auditing expertise; she
  performed sales tax and franchise tax audits for 10 years before
  becoming a supervisor of auditors and contract examiners; and
 
         WHEREAS, Capable and creative, she has handled her many
  important responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and
  professionalism; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, she is respected and
  admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of the
  Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Susan Erwin Harms on her exceptional
  service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the
  Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to her best wishes for
  the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
