SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1022
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Bob Reynolds, who is retiring after 17 years of
  exceptional service with the Office of the Comptroller of Public
  Accounts; and
         WHEREAS, Bob Reynolds joined the comptroller's office in
  1978; he served for several years in the Inheritance Tax Division
  before transferring to the Revenue Accounting Division; he then
  transferred to Tax Assistance and served on the Minerals Tax team
  for five years before moving in 1990 to Montana, where he ran a
  ranch and taught at the University of Montana; he later taught
  school in Houston for 11 years; and
         WHEREAS, In 2006, he returned to the comptroller's office,
  where he has made many friends over the years and is known for his
  versatility and his expertise in a variety of fields; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout his career in the comptroller's
  office, Bob Reynolds has handled his responsibilities with
  exceptional skill and dedication; in addition to his work on
  behalf of the state, he has many hobbies and is a talented
  musician who has played in prominent bands and has performed
  custom work on band instruments; and
         WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, Bob Reynolds is known for
  his good humor and his engaging personality; he is beloved and
  respected by his colleagues, and his presence in the Office of
  the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Bob Reynolds on his productive
  career with the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts and
  on his many contributions to our state and extend to him best
  wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
