SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1023
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Kevin B. Deiters, who is retiring from the Office of
  the Comptroller of Public Accounts on May 31, 2011, after 28
  years of loyal service to the state; and
 
         WHEREAS, Throughout his career with the comptroller's
  office, Kevin Deiters has demonstrated superior organizational
  skills and expertise; he is retiring as director of the
  Educational Opportunities and Investments Division; and
 
         WHEREAS, He is a talented and resourceful individual and
  has handled his many responsibilities with the Educational
  Opportunities and Investments Division with exceptional
  efficiency and dedication; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, he has earned the respect
  and admiration of his colleagues, and his presence in the Office
  of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby commend Kevin B. Deiters on his exceptional
  service to the citizens of this state as a valued employee of the
  Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to him
  best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
