SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1126
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  John Edward Andrade, Sr.
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Private First Class John Edward Andrade,
  Sr., who died August 7, 2010, at the age of 19; and
         WHEREAS, John Andrade was bravely serving his country with
  the United States Army in Kandahar, Afghanistan, when he made the
  ultimate sacrifice; and
         WHEREAS, Americans owe a profound debt of gratitude to our
  nation's servicemen and servicewomen, whose courageous efforts
  and enormous sacrifices are deserving of their fellow citizens'
  deepest respect and admiration; and
         WHEREAS, John was an exemplary serviceman, and his valor
  and devotion to duty exemplified his steadfast resolve and
  patriotism; and
         WHEREAS, John Andrade was beloved and respected for his
  high standards and principles, and he leaves behind memories that
  will be cherished forever by his family and many friends; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Private First Class John Edward Andrade, Sr.; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of John Andrade.
